Optimal health supplement regiment

Are these worth it? Taking a high quality multivitamin and multimineral? I used to think to myself "Why would I want to do that, it seems unnatural", but "optimal health" is unnatural anyway. Animals survive. We as humans are eerily unnatural and yet we have natural bodies. We can actually strive for "optimal health".
Does anyone take an optimal health regiment? The vitamin business is quite competitive indeed.

I take am multivitamin daily. Why not? Riding bicycles and getting blow jobs aren't "natural" either.

GNC's Mega Man multivitamin is great. It's the only thing I try purchasing from GNC. Really balanced.
Aside from that, fish oils and possibly other vitamins are all that most people need. I take a lot of other spare vitamins when I feel it's necessary. It all boils down to your individual needs. A solid multi is a great place to start though.

Yeah I went ahead and did it. I actually got a multimineral as people tend to lack more on minerals than they do vitamins. Got a 2:1 Calcium-Mag complex and then a really great multivitamin.
The only thing the multi-vitamin lacks is Iron, and it only has 50% copper. No mag or calcium which I was looking for specifically.
Pretty happy about it. Hope I can get my iron though. I'm a vegetarian so its harder but on the other hand I don't menstruate so....

Next time you get some blood work, ask them to check your iron just to be certain... like you said, you don't have a bloody vag so as long as you're getting some iron in your vegetarian diet you should be all right
