Trouble downloading attachments with Opera

This has happened with two different attachments so far. The download reaches close to 100% and then it just says "error" (I'm talking about in the download manager); the attachments downloaded fine in Firefox.

Sounds like a problem with Opera then. The download code is simple, straightforward and standards-compliant:

header('Content-Type: application/x-octet-stream');
header('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename='.$file);
header('Content-Length: '.filesize($path));
readfile($path);

I'd talk to Opera, show them that and see if they can figure out why it doesn't work. Maybe it's a problem writing the file to your local disk and not with the download.
