need id of texas mushroom

yesterday while hunting i came across a couple of mushrooms that i have seen quite often but never bothered with, always going straight for the cubes. but this time i picked them. they were growing in cow dung and are about 4 in tall, skinny stems with conical caps. they are light black with the gills being the same. i thought they might be libertys but want to make sure. anybody out there seen what i have?

they are not liberty caps.

they don't grow in dung or texas.

may be a Panaeolus species.

you are going to need prints and pics if you want more help than that.
