LSD's price spike

So I just had someone offer me a sheet of Window Pane for 700 bucks!! I about shit myself! 700??? The cheapest sheet i've heard of in the last few years has been 500 bucks. Which to me is still outrageous. I use to buy sheets of acid for 200 bucks, 250 for expensive acid.

Single hits are now 10 dollars a hit with no price break.

I remember the days of 40 dollar ten strips. Last time I could get acid at that price was probably 03.

So my question is, anyone have an Idea as to why this happened? Is there a shortage on ergot or what?

Meh, I usually hear 350-450 for a sheet.

I remember sheets for 150, hits at 2.

Its a fucking sad situation isnt it. Its been a while but I hoped to pick up a few sheets at various events this year, guess that aint gunna happen.

LSD is rare commodity around here.  I'd buy a sheet for whatever price just to ensure I had some when I wanted it.  Though, I'd probably just invite all my friends over and have a party.  :tongue:

It's all greed, bro.

That's why we gotta fight it. If I had the chance to buy one for $700, I'd do it in a heartbeat and tip the guy $100 for fun.

Then I'd give it away.

I don't know the exact reason behind the price spike but I do remember getting acid much cheaper 6 - 7 years ago. Back then I could get it at $100 - $150 (tops) for a single vial or sheet of paper or gels. These prices now are outrageous but what can you do?

Depends on the quality and source.

For awhile, there was a batch that I could only get for 10/hit (no matter how much I got at once), *or*, I could get other stuff at 5/hit (with price breaks down to a rather cheap one).

However, given the quality of both batches - I ended up getting the 10/hit stuff and in bulk (I've bought other stuff in the mean time at cheaper prices, but save the good stuff for the 'special' trips), and gotta say - its a choice I do not regret making.

I now have my dwindling supply of 'the really good stuff' (Best damn acid I've ever had, and was/is worth every penny I spent on it), and my 'pretty good' stuff - which I've gotten for far cheaper. Its still pretty good all around, but have yet to come across anything that matches the other stuff. A few came close, but not quite.

I fight it by overcoming the obstacle that impedes the mission at hand. Mission=to dose many people. obstacle=price.

Solution=buy a bunch and give it away for free. Now the dealer only sold me a couple of sheets for $700 rather than $1000 and all those nice people tripped for free.

Same here!

The prices have gotten higher but I don't think they're too bad unless your getting weak acid. I think a hit of acid is worth $15 if you only need one hit for a strong trip. Hell I'd pay $25 for a solid acid trip. But I do think $10-$15 a hit is too much if it's weak shit where you need to take 4+ hits to trip hard.

Sheets can still be had for ~200 if you get lucky and run into the right people. This is without buying in bulk. 350-400 does seem to be the new standard though.

Amen to that!

Of all the festivals I've been to and all the paper I've eaten has amounted to bunk. At least 2 dozen hits over a period of 2 summers, might as well chew on a newspaper.
