you put a search phrase or a couple of terms in google like so:

"search terms" ... and google will spit out all pages that have those two (or more) terms written together in the same order they appear inside the quotes...

and yes, it is definitely very useful...

another useful feature is the - define: - feature... basically you just write any term you want a definition on after a define: and voila... there you go...

You can have Google not seperate your search words by putting quotes around them. So if you enter

"red ball"

into google it'll only give you results for red balls; as opposed to

red ball

which will just give you results for just the word red and the word ball

I think the second most useful feature is having Google reject all results with a word or group of words in quotes by putting a minus sign in front of what you want to be excluded from your search

ball -"red ball"

red -ball

If you want to search a string use quotes, like "Magic Mushrooms kill 12 year old"

If you don't use the quotes it will search for each keyword separately, when you use quotes it will only return results with that exact string.
