Poppy Tea's a brewin!
    #7029692 -

Just put 27g of ground poppy powder in some boiled water to steep for 30 minutes.  My ankle is extra sore today, so I want to get to the Land O' Nod rather thoroughly.  (Its funny, Land O' Nod is the name of a street near where I work, I should steal the sign and put it above my opium chair )

I am just opening a thread because I really seem to like to write on poppy tea, and heres where I will do it!

:toast:

 Peace

I find the taste varies greatly from batch to batch.  My last batch didnt taste too bad at all, but my new batch tastes pretty foul.

Just finished first extraction, its nice and dark brown.  Waiting on the second run before I combine and imbibe. 15 more minutes!

Check out my scars:

The big scar has a large plate running under it with 8 large screws holding everything together.  At the bottom of the plate, there is a big ass bolt-like screw to hold my tibia and fibula together.  The smaller scar has a smaller plate and 2 large screws to hold the bottom of the tibia on.  I dislocated the ankle, broke the bone in far too many places to count, tore every ligament, destroyed the cartilage, and popped the bottom of my tibia off.  It fuckin hurt!

Now a year later, things are getting better, but I am still pretty limited in what I can do.  Though I did get a lot of crazy drugs in the hospital.  Fentanyl, Hydromorphone, morphine, and a small handful of other stuff.  They gave me a hypnotic when they had to reset the joint, and apparently the first thing I said was "Usually I have to pay for this."  I was definitely fucked!  I noticed that after I came to, the (incredibly hot) nurse had a coy look on her face.

It was then that my step mother said "do you know what you said to her?"  Apparently I told her she was hot, and had a delicious looking ass.   Whoops!  Oh well, she probably gets it a lot.

Football game.  I was running in for a touchdown, and landed wrong.  The ankle rolled, and that was that.

I yelled across the field "Call a fucking ambulance, I broke my ankle!"

A buddy replied "you'll be fine, just walk it off"

Ugh, my ankle was in so many pieces it felt like ripping apart chicken wings every time I moved it.  Eventually they realized I wasn't just being a baby when they saw that my foot was beside my ankle.

They finally called an ambulance, and it came right onto the field.  I told the paramedic that she had a gentle touch and she told me to tell that to her husband (who was the other paramedic).  Oh well.

As for the effects, they are just starting.  It already feels pretty damn good though.  Any one else notice how high doses of poppy tea feels very psychedelic?

Until next time...
