getting ready to make some poppy tea.

yep.. first time doing it myself.. now i was reading on a tek that some people like to add "tea flavors"... what are tea flavors.. examples that is..

now i just have to run and grab the pods out of my snow covered car. :cool:

I hope you didn't eat for up to 4 hours prior to dosing. Also, drinking a thing of grapefruit juice about 45 vminutes prior to dosing helps block the inhibitors in your liver, which helps you get more opium into your system. This info was passed down to me and now, I am passing it down to you.

It smells about the same as when you pasteurize horse dung, just not quite as strong. Tea flavors means add a tea bag to the water.

Don't boil it, boil the water, add ground pods, stir and remove from heat. Steep 30 min, strain, add honey, enjoy.

Save strained particulate matter for steeping again a second time.

I think grinding the pods is the most important part. I use my totally awesome coffee grinder and blast 'em until they're finer than flour. Pour boiling water over them and stir constantly for 15 minutes, strain and squeeze through a coffee filter and then, well, duh. I also add a splash of vinegar to the boiling water to help lower the ph. It is 8.4 out of the tap where I live so I figure a lower ph helps extract the alkaloids. I may be wrong but it seems to work to me.

thanks blissed..thats what i really need.. is passed down info.. seems to be most accurate..

and no, i did it on a completely empty stomach.. and it will be about 6 hours since eating on my next dose



what i have done.. at the advice of a shroomery friend.. is crushed all the pods into a powder.. and then plan on adding the crushed pods in teaspoons per cup (NOT dosage, procedure mods)

does this procedure sound OK.. meaning, making 1 dose and then storing it in the refridgerator.. or should i make a fresh dose each time

and 2nd extractions... reccomended?

I  :heart: poppy tea!  Ah, the good ol' days where one could buy dried pods by the thousand on ebay, with plenty of strong varieties to choose.  I would grind the pods, mix with 1 part decaff coffee and load into the coffee maker.  Second extraction is almost as good as the first!  Just don't let 'em get moldy in between.

lol.. i made some this morning.. kinda bunk.. im making the huge batch here in about an hour, maybe 2.

and yeah carbon, i planned on doing a 2nd extract immediately after the first with about 2/3 the amount of water.. then just adding it to the original batch

most pods from online are crap ime.. they cant compare to pods you grew youself in terms of morphine potency.. i dont even waste my time/money buying them online anymore. ill just throw some seeds in my yard.. or go buy some opi8 pills.. way cheaper and better
