I'd be concerned about putting a fake return address becfause I'd be afraid the postal service would realize it was fake :shrug:

I work in a mail processing/data entry facility for USPS.

You can put a fake address or no address at all for the return and nothing bad will happen. The only time the return address would be checked is if the letter needed to be returned.
