correct, at about 1500°F it is at about half it's strength

Yeah it doesn't melt, but its load bearing capacities are compromised at the temperatures that jet fuel fires burn at.

i don't remember seeing any conspiracy theories about children melting under napalm hits in vietnam, though. but i guess 9/11 is a really important event. only really, really, really important events get conspiracy theories.
