Stropharia Aeruginosa???

Hey everyone
About a month ago, I came across some very strange looking blue shrooms which I was told were 'Definatley magic' (from a very unreliable person)....but I knew they weren't Psilo's so I made a post about it and mj helped me identify them as Stropharia Aeruginosa. Now at this stage I did more reading / viewing of photos, and they are definatley them. At this point I wrote them off as 'non-magic'...yet just now I was browsing the gallery at www.ethnobotany-australia.net and I see they have Stropharia Aeruginosa in their galleries....so what is up with this shroom? Magic? Contain Psilocybe? Other psychoactives? Toxins? Any help would be appreciated.... thanks

in Europe they are regarded as edible, in the US they are suspected of being posionous

Remember this is not an hallucinogenic mushroom. It is already a blue color and it does not really stain blue.

There are several related species to this mushroom including Stamets id of Psilocybe caerulea. They are still basically Stropharia's.

And they are not edible either.
