Because Roger Clemens has never been associated with Balco or anybody sent to prison for trafficking in steroids. What was Bonds' testimony again, "I used something called the Cream and something called the Clear. I don't know what they were." Riiiiight.

anyone who thinks Clemens is not on HGH is kidding themself. 

The Yankees need a lot more than just a starting pitcher, so this was a  really bad move. $28 Million, for at most 14 wins, maybe a lot less.

Still not as bad a the Pavano or Giambi contracts though.:suicide:

Like I said in another thread you're not just paying for starts and wins, you've got Roger fucking Clemens (do you deny he's one of the best all-time?) there to tutor young Phil Hughes.

best all time, no. hes the most-juiced-longest, of all time. You can not ignore his growth from 35-43 is very very similar to Bonds.

What are you talking about? He has been incredibly consistent since he was 23. There is no sudden improvement at any age. Here are his stats.

so... Clemens is the only person ever to get better, the older he has been.  His last 4 years, have been as good as his best 3 years in the late 80's(innings for innings).THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN ANY SPORT EVER, except for bonds.:suicide:

No they haven't, that's a lie. He went from pitching in the AL to pitching in the InterNL. His ERA improved, how was his win percentage? Not so good. And some of his years in Boston were better. Sorry pumpkin, but he has been incredibly consistent. At 35 in 1997 2.05 ERA in Toronto. 1998 Toronto 2.65.

National league = steroids for pitchers.

You need to come up with more than that if you're gonna accuse someone of steroids, pal. So, you didn't answer my question. Have you stopped touching altar boys yet?

Randy Johnson is only a year younger than Clemens, is in his 22nd season, and was clocked at 96 mph just the other night. Is he on HGH too?

randy Johnson is a physical anomaly that did not get figured out until his late 20's.  He hasnt been throwing hard like that for 30+ years.  His Height gives him a distict advantage.

And im well aware of NL and its pitching haven.  But most of clemens starts were at home, in a small stadium.  Then you figure in relatively small ballparks in the NL Central, and you can forget giving Clemens his  bonus credit.

Athletes are suppose to loose power, ability, and fall apart.  the only reason Bonds wont play 3 more years is because of his knees. 

Randy Johnson is a freak because of his height, and scouts are still trying to replicate him.  But he did not have the long, hard throwing, career Clemens had.  Hell, Randy was/is getting viscoelastic fluid injected into his knee every 6 weeks, cause his drumstik is destroyed.

Clemens was first drafted in 1981, then went to college, no one throws hard 27 years without teh :syringe:

ill have the best seats in the stadium for Wednesday when Clemens starts for AA Trenton Thunder...should be interesting.

there will be a million media outlets flooding the pressbox...as well as the already sold out crowd...plus an overflow from standing room only tickts. it is going to be a zoo similar to when Jeter was on rehab for 4 games in 03
