He claims the injections were lidocaine and B12...
"for his joints" he says
man this is getting pretty sad.
Lidocaine is a pain killer used by dentists for oral pain.

When your whole career is under the threat of being asterisked, you'd say whatever you had to say.

This whole thing is generally pretty hilarious. Clemens and his attorney are both morons.
Quote:
"Roger took bunches of his shots over his career, much the way racehorses do, unfortunately," Clemens' lawyer, Rusty Hardin, said after excerpts were released Thursday.
Quote:
But McNamee's attorney Earl Ward on Friday stood by his client's claim that he injected Clemens with testosterone.
"Brian has a master's degree in sports medicine," McNamee's attorney, Earl Ward, told ESPN The Magazine. "He knows the difference between lidocaine, B-12 and testosterone. What he injected into Roger Clemens wasn't lidocaine or B-12. It was testosterone."

Athletes get shots all the time and lidocaine and B-12 are very common. Novocaine is primarily for dental work, not lidocaine. Lidocaine has much wider applications. Nothing he said was untoward. It's a straight he said/he said. I find it odd that McNamee is being so vocal considering he has no reputation left to salvage and only spoke up in the first place because he got a favorable disposition of a criminal matter. Very odd.

whoops my mistake
it's pretty funny how easily i get these drugs mixed up, or disturbing maybe.
Either way, i think the man should pay just like anyone else who cheats and gets away with it like that.

Then you believe BB and his flaxseed oil defense as well?
C'mon....

Man, I've done a few cycles. And maybe it's just me, but these control freaks KNOW what they're shooting into themselves. Roger knows that there's no evidence, he can take a stand. No BALCO, no nothing. I just find the article that was on Bill SImmons site interesting about the writer who went to Toronto and wrote BACK THEN that Roger was looking like a body builder all of a sudden at age 33 (or whatever) That's enough for me to believe he did it. No dude at 33 totally reshapes his body in 4 months, or even 6 without some help. He went from soft and even borderline fat to shredded. Maybe at 19, but not 33. Not when he was already a "legend" for his workouts. What changed then??
Oh well, he's got 10 trillion dollars, a ring, a great family seemingly, and so on. Just another guy who didn't hear the train whistle coming.
