smells quite pleasent
no taste (that i noticed)[image][/image]

they grow on dirt, scattered, sometimes in a group of two or three.
stem is hollow/white
gills are white in young specimen, and N/A in grown.
spores are grey to jet black.
they are about the size of my pinky nail at the biggest.

The first two images, if of the same mushroom, are probably Pluteus, and the gills may darken to a shade of pink.

The white ones are actually interesting, because Alan and I have been pondering the identity as well, as they grow in our area as well.

Lastly, the stink horn looks to be in the genus Phallus.

They are not "albino", they are just white(note black gills/spores). They are not particularly striking in my experience.

Well, need more pics. It's hard to tell, because i am not sure whether it grew on grass, or the tree in the pic. Also, the gills look white, but i can't tell for sure. Did you print it?

i said they grew next to a dead stump, in decayed wood(finely decayed almost dirt like), the spore color is peach/salmon color. the gills did get a pinkish tint.

As per this info, my best bet is panaeolus phalaenarum, but don't quote me on that.

I have considered Panaeolus, though it just doesn't seem right...

The stipe is too brittle, and the substrate (wood/ buried wood) is unlike other species of Panaeolus.

they were not growing in wood. they grow in dirt under grass blades. well not like under them, but between them.
