It should look white and kind of fluffy. Mine does at least. I'm growing it in barley malt water.

Hmm... minds real thick, assuming its mycelium (I'm hoping), but that could be because I used a tad bit too much honey. :wink:

when I shake it up, its kinda syrupy looking, and real milky. But like I said, I don't know if its mycelium or contamination.. so I'm restarting my project soon.
I myself have a question.. Does the mycelium float? or does it sink to the bottom?

If that?s mycelium what I got there it mainly floats around and partly sinks to the ground.
