I am almost positive she did. How would that even be possible? Did she hire someone? Is that the only way? Anyone know how one would be able to do that?
It is a yahoo account, if that helps.

yes, she may have known the reminder questions. And about a week ago, there was an email "verifying the termination of my account". I hit no, of course but found it weird. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
She had no access to my computer, no.

No, she most definitely didn't do that (keylogger). I think I might have figured it out. I looked at my account, and my alternate email address on that account was the same name but at hotmail.com. I never had such an address.
She probably did that before when we were together when she actually had legal access to my password. I hope that is the case. She isn't dumb enough to give my information to someone else to hack. I'm so fucking pissed. She had the fucking gaul to call me up and freak out because I'm going to Atlanta for my buddie's birthday. There is no other way she would know that if it wasn't for the flight confirmation. Who the FUCK does she think she is? Well, any hope of getting back together in the future was just flushed down with my morning log.

Dude, when my wife and I were about 17-18 she got into my email to find out what I was up to.
Every fucking day for about two weeks my password didn't work so I would have to change it. She kept entering all of my security questions and then changing my password again. Fucking cunt! 
I was so drugged up I didn't even think someone was up to anything. I blamed that shit on yahoo!
Eventually she told me.

Its probably more likely that Yahoo just decided to terminate your account anyway. They did the same thing to me to an account I had since 1997. Asswipes. The account still exists, but my password doesn't work, I can't get a new one since I used an email address from 1997, and I have no way to retrieve it.

I am extremely pissed off right now. I know she thinks I was cheating and that's why I was so persistent to end it. I guess she needed proof so she can move on, maybe? Well, she found nothing but plane ticket confirmation to see my good buddy. Hope her mind wanders all weekend as to what I'm up to. Just seems like a juvenile thing to do.
I know a lot of people online offer the ability to do it for money. Does anyone know if that's a for real thing that people can do? Can hackers do it easily? Some people at her work are real computer nuts. If she did that, I will never forgive her ass.
Do you think that's what happened? She created the same name under a different email domain I'm thinking, and made it my alternate email so when you do a password request, it gets sent there. Probably thought I would not catch it because the first words are the same. I really hate the internet for this very reason. Gives normal people the ability to become stalkers. I congratulated her in rising to the ranks of "psycho stalker ex", which I think really hit her hard. I told her I will be changing my bank information too, since I don't trust her and will be now taking all security measures. I was real calm about it. She got real quiet and I think realized just how stupid she had been.
The shitty thing is, I was really starting to miss her and contemplating contacting her to see to make it work. Guess things happen for a reason.

Dude, you should use this to your advantange.. Don't let her know that you know she has access. Then fuck with her somehow by sending emails to your account that will freak her out.

I don't want to stoop to her level anymore. I found myself doing that at the beginning of the breakup, and there can a point in time that I just had to be the adult and walk away. This will make it easier I suppose. She also listened to my VM apparently and there was a message from a girl at work. She freaked out over that for no reason. The girl is hooking me up with another job, but now apparently I am involved with her in my ex's eyes. We have been broken up for 2 months, even if I was seeing someone else, is it her business? Would that really be considered cheating? WTF!?!?
I think I just need to cut off contact completely once and for all. It's a shame. I had hope that this was the one. Shit really hit the fan, and I felt the need for some serious time apart. I figured if we spent time apart and I still found myself missing her months later, then it was for real. She's now giving me every reason in the world to forget.

also i would like to add that the same thing has happened to me with ebay and email and it was a hacker that sent spoof emails saying that my account was shut down/cancled and i had went to log on to figure out what the deal was, when i loged on it said i couldent and it sent the info to the hacker, a week later i had thousands in ebay bills that i fought for a year, and had my personal info stolen.
now i answer nothing and i email yahoo or ebay if i get something from them.

I have seen worse, friend was discovered cheating on his wife by her checking it, he used to spy on all his girlfriends emails etc, then after rehab he found out she was cheating on him while he was recovering and they were living seperately trying to work it out, thus divorce.... sad
