How can I tell if my jars have pins?

Sorry guys I don't have a digital camera other wise I would put the pic up for you. I have 2 jars of eqs that are 100% colonized. I've been looking at themycelium pic on the PF site and it kinda looks like the pins in that picture. However these small areas arn't all over the jar there pretty much just in the front. I can't tell if what I am seeing are pins or just cooked rye. How can you tell?

are you birthing invitro?? if not take em out of the jar after 100%colonization. first look for primordial knots. they look like small roundish bumps or knots. these will turn into pins which look like small protrusions. you can see pics of these things on this site check it out.

Are you doing pf cakes or jars of rye. Pf cakes dont use rye.

Youll know pins when you see them. They look like mini shrooms. First you should see hyphal knots and they look like little white pimples.

Yeah I was going to try and to do this the pf way. I'm not brithing inverto either.
