Sleeping Under the Stars
    #686871 -

Last summer, while I was at camp, some of my friends and I decided to take our sleeping bags and go sleep out in the field, under the stars. I had never done it before, and I found it to be an awesome experience.
Now, when I am at home, I prefer to take a sleeping bag and go sleep outside on my deck instead of sleeping in my bed. At least when it is nice out It just gives me a really nice feeling. Waking up to the first rays of dawn falling on your face, and hearing birds sing songs to the sun. And breathing that pure, cool air that blows through your hair and rustles the leaves on the trees.
It is very refreshing for the spirit. Just thought I'd suggest it for people (like me before last summer) who have never done this, and for others who might do this to comment on their experiences.

Doing anyhitng outside is much much better than inside. Inside does not exist we only created it....

If we created it, then it indeed does exist.

i agree mr swami man, we did create environment where we can do our damndest as free willed bipeds to block out both the pesky hells of nature and luscious beauties that compromise the world we all inhabit and gluttonusly consume from.

Ya, I was sitting on my deck the other day, looking at the row of houses on either side of me, thinking the same thing while the rain beat upon our roofs.

For better or for worse, I am indoors. (At the moment.)

One summer spent on a small island off the coast of BC, I slept on my cousins deck under the stars. Though I'd been camping many times, this was the first time I'd truly slept "outside". It was amazing, though a little intimidating at first; some credit due to my cousins stories of the island maniac, sort of Green Mile-esque.

I was maybe eleven years old...?

have you ever tried sleeping on a park bench.... or moving out and living in a park?
there is a tremendous feeling of peace and being at one with the world, removed from materialism, laughing at the others going to work to fuel the capitalist machine... amongst similarly minded individuals...
this is me having a nap on my bed
