Male plant? with pictures

this plant is about 5 weeks old and has always been under 16/8 for light but i think its starting to show sex and i think its male any ideas?

Lawl yes that's a male BTW very nice closeup pic of that little bud :wink: that's a good example of what to look for in a male just starting to flower.

do you need expensive equip to take close ups like that? or can you take the picture through a mag glass

its a male.

personally, i would take a cutting, and lable it.

Kill the main plant.

root the cutting, and keep it really tiny. Keep this somewhere totally different in your house. It wont need much light, and you dont want any accedental pollenation.

All this time, you are growing out and flowering your females.

Keep this male really small, and only once your ladies are 2-3weeks into flowering, let him grow a few balls.
Paintbrush to a few of the lower colas, on your female with the most desierable traits, and you've now got yourself some f2's.

I recommend placing a clear bag over the branch for a few hours after application, and a lite misting of the rest of the crop, to knock down any stray pollen. Turn off all fans before you start too.




Or you could just kill him now.

thats a cool close up male pic for the new weed site theyre working at

its hard to find a good close up pic of a male and this is the best pic ive seen to date
