Lots of talk, lots of documents, lots of web pages, lots of vids, but no power being sold.

Does this tell you something?

Steorn is challenging the scientific community to disprove their claims.

Why would anyone waste their time disproving something that the guy hasn't even demonstrated?

It's up to him to prove it works, not up to others to prove it doesn't, especially since it doesn't even exist yet.

no one would even believe them if they did that

If they start selling power for significantly less than any other method of power production, no one will be able to deny them. But they won't do that. They'll just talk and make web pages and videos and publish documents instead.

And Magnetic Power Inc will be releasing a generator at the end of this year.

Wanna bet?

Einstein was just working with the new world order Bush family neo-con multinational big oil corporations. So obviously anything he said is just a zionist hoax.

All I can say is the evidence is in the history. Just read up on people like Tesla and do some background checks on the Steorn and MPI and you'll come to realize that these figures are not your fly by night scammer's. Most of them are actually already multi-millionaire's and have no desire for making more money even though they will make a crap load and crash all energy stock's. Some of them are former professor's and have Phd's from very prestigous school's like Harvard. So I would'nt make quick realizations and just write it off as a hoax. The true proof though will come when they prove it to the scientific community. Lets just hope Haliburton doesn't have a say in it.

All I can say is the evidence is in the history.

The evidence is in the lack of a machine that does what they say it can do.

So I swould't make quick realizations and just write it off as a hoax.

No, it's not a hoax. It's a method of milking money from gullible investors. On that I give them kudos, especially since the same ploy has been used over and over for decades, and the marks just keep coming.

Someone once said there's a sucker born every minute. They were wrong, it's every second.

Lets just hope Haliburton doesn't have a say in it.

Yeah, I knew this excuse was coming, it always does. Next year when they can't make it work, they'll invent a conspiracy theory to explain the failure and laugh all the way to the bank.

Same thing with fusion.  Yet we'll be using it within 50 years.

He's not against it, who would be against it?  He's being a scientist, and is calling bullshit on this.  He's dead on about no one "disproving" it -- due to the fact that it's never been "proved"

He reminds me of my wacky chem teacher

> Same thing with fusion. Yet we'll be using it within 50 years.

Not at all the same.  Fusion works.  We have demonstrated that it works.  There are entire islands missing because fusion works.  The only problem with fusion is  that we cannot contain a fusion reaction long enough to convert the energy released into a usable form of power.  Now, if you had said "cold fusion", you would have a point... but you didn't, and you don't.

> Steorn is challenging the scientific community to disprove their claims.

Which again shows that Steorn is a flake.  This is a fallacy known as a negative proof, basically of the form "X is true because there is no proof that X is false."  The negative proof fallacy is often used by pseudo-science frauds, as it sounds plausible to the layman.

> Judging by the response's on the previous post made about this just about everyone on this site think's it's a scam except me.

What is more likely... some guy figured out a way to end all of the worlds problems (quite literally), but for various lame reasons, cannot or will not proceed from concept to working model... or ... some guy is trying to con people out of money.  Savior or fraud... which do you really think the guy is?  It would be great if he were savior, but the chances of that being the case are very, very slim.

> And like I said in July they will have the first public test date so I think that will squash alot of the nay sayer's out there.

I would absolutely love to be wrong on this... but, unfortunately, I don't think that will be the case.  Anybody else remember the Minato motor...

Fusion works. Like Seuss said, hydrogen bombs release enough energy from the fusion of hydrogen fuel to blow up entire islands. The hard part is working out the technology to make it commercially useful.

Free energy machines are entirely different. They propose to produce energy from nowhere. No fuel. Energy is supposed to just appear.

why are you so against this Diploid you sound like you don't want this to happen.

Don't be silly. Of course I would love this to happen. It would prevent wars, poverty, starvation, and most of the rest of the world's problems. But I've seen thousands of people before these guys who've all made the same promise and all fell flat on their face. I also understand enough about the physics they're misconstruing to know that it won't work.

Why would I expect anything different from this bunch? Nothing they're saying is new. It's the same old story being rehashed yet one more time: the technology is proprietary. Oh, you can see it, sure, but you have to sign a non-disclosure agreement... and make a small investment.

Yeah, right.

so what has tesla got to do w/ this? he had lots of cool experiments, but most of the better onces had to do with free energy transfer, not creation.

So where would he get the free energy if he didn't create it? He had a way of creating zero point energy and a system of delivering it to the public wirelessly, but since Thomas Edison figured out it would'nt make him nearly enough money to fill his fat ass pockets he stopped all funding on Tesla's Colorado Spring's lab. There was also a movie released called The Prestige and it has Nikola Tesla in it. This film pretty much underscore's everything I just said about Tesla and Edison's fued and how he was able to shut him down. And Diploid if you know everything about this science then please explain to me how the casmir effect is produced in your own words.
