how fucking repugnant.
I DESPISE repugnant people.
the superintendant of the townhouse complex helped herself to me established rose plants.

i had them trimmed and was actively controlling pests.  i had just bought a pile of compost and was soon to work the garden into a thing of beauty.

I get up this morning and find nothing but little spademarks.

so i figure the groundsperson thought they were weeds, i went around looking in dumpsters and couldn't find any trace.

then my neighbor mentions the super has had her eyes on them..  so i walk over to her suite and there they are, allong with various other peoples plants, in her front yard, all carefully landscaped in and ready to go.

FUCKING BULLSHIT!

i banged on the door, and i KNOW she was home, but she diddnt answer, so we made a few phonecalls to the property manager and i took some pics of her garden with MY plants in it.

I would post them, but they are of a nature that intentionally show her exact address.

im tempted to march over and yank them before they root, but  I would rather settle this like a gentleman.  I will even let her keep one.  but my 2 nicest ones, no way, i was about to manicure them a little more now that the forsythias were blooming (indicator of time to manicure roses)

so now, with my nice garden and sensitive plants, i have to make enemies with the groundsperson...  this bodes well.  :hulk:  :hulk:  :hulk:  :hulk:

call the police stealing is wrong.

better yet, wait till about 4am and call them...when they ask why tell them its because you couldn't sleep because you kept thinking about it.....was so disturbing yah know?

Oh man, that is some serious bullshit. You should dig up her shit and replace all of it with some mean-ass opuntia cholla, like an opuntia imbricata. Those spines go right through even the thickest of gloves.

Go to wallmart and get some icecream rock salt and put it around her plants( say about 3-4am) .Trust me, there won't very much growing there anymore.

What really confuses me is whether she really thought she could get away with it! Obviously you'd notice your plants in her yard. If she was too cheap to go get her own roses she could've jacked them from someone farther away who'd not be sure to catch her... not that that would be any better, just smarter. oh my.

Hey, I wasn't suggesting you cause any trouble!  I was merely suggesting that you replace her stolen plants with an attractive cold-hardy cactus that just happens to have some of the most brutal defenses in the family. :tongue2:

I'm glad you got your plants back.  I hope they haven't been shocked too much by all of the moving around.

she said the previous tenant who planted them told her she could have then if they ever looked bad. well it was friggin april, of course they looked bad.

she also apparently knocked on my door, but for lack of answer, decided to go ahead and help herself.

NOT a good reason.
