How do you deal with low life retards that are violent?

I am having an issue with a friend of mine who I have ignorantly made an effort to stay by for the past 4 years. He has no job, quits every job he gets. He is convinced he doesnt need money because he is living with his parents and scrubbin off everyone. He managed to get a smoking habit without ever buying cigarettes, he thinks weed is a stupid drug to buy because hes convinced its free after all the dick he sucked to get a puff. There is soo much more, in fact you wouldnt beleive how low this guy is just by describing the way he manages money. I heard he beat up his mom once because she wanted to discuss him changing his life around. He thinks money is the answer to all his issues, yet he blows the 5 grand he makes off of stolen credit cards in 2 to 3 weeks tops, and he still has probation bills to pay off. He his 2 younger sibling who in my opinion arent taking his behaviour very well at all.

He treats everyone like shit and hes a complete loser that doesnt want to die alone in his shit life style. Its already clear now that he is emotionally unstable to the point of being dangerous. Me and the buds are older now, but he seems to be the only one that hasnt changed at all. I feel like he will end up dead one day, but at this point I dont even care. I almost feel bad that he seems like all of his issues are the fault of all the victems he wronged and hurt both emotionally and mentally. Hes too stupid to understand himself and how he lies to himself to right his wrongs, I am convinced he gave up his faith to justify all the wrong he does to others to benefit himself without having to feel guilt. He is soo confused and trouble, but after all that he has done without ever having a consequence to learn from it, I feel like I dont have to be sympathetic any longer.

I regret all the patience that I have wasted trying to tolerate and see hope in this low life, and I actually respect him enough to write all this and not call him another low life spic goin to hell. I dont know why I lose sleep over someone who fucks everything up and doesnt even know it. Everyone else is too afraid to make him face the truth, but I get it the worst because he thinks im his best friend. I am soo disgusted with this person that I dont know how to go about telling this guy to stay the fuck out of my life without having my life threatened. I myself am afraid of this dude, but also I want to be far far away from him the day he is being hunted by drug dealers, or about to cut a deal with the cops for doing something stupid. Its my fault for being around people like this in the first place, and I let him use a childhood to justify it; but I really think this kid is a total monster that needs to be put out of his own misery.

I never get into fights. I think it is because of how I choose my parties. Some things just draw the wrong crowd. I know it sounds elitist but it´s true. I´m a student, I go to student places and parties, I´ve never seen a fight go on, the arguments people have don´t usually go beyond a push on the chest.

I don´t fight myself, you can only lose. Even if you knock him out in one straight punch. He´s down, everybody is looking at you, thinking you are a maniac, his friends hate you, the bar manager is annoyed because the party atmosphere is disturbed, there´s possible trouble with the law...

It´s a crock of shit. If you want to fight, join a boxing/karate/krav maga class or whatever. Don´t fucking bother fun-loving party-goers.

Like I said, choose the places and times you go out. Choose your friends to be classy people who have more distinguished hobbies than to look for trouble with strangers.

its hard to do sometimes, but in my experience with similar people is to let them go do their thing and lead by example. if you were meant to be you could just lead a good life for yourself and perhaps they will see the greatness of that.

ive had some really fucked up friends over the years and the ones i liked the most bothered me a whole lot. i cant control them.. some of them have come around.. but that was their decision. others just continue to do what they do. its sad but thats life.
