Any way to speed up the tolerance factor with opiates?

What I mean is, is there some herbal or other way to reduce tolerance quicker than abstaining for months or years? I am not a habitual user, but at one time I could pop a couple of percocets and be flying. Now it seems that even after months of abtaining they barely have any effect...

I just wrapped up a solid week and a half of opiate withdrawal, and still feel pretty shitty most of the time. I had enough weed to keep myself from puking but otherwise I think I would have gotten some more. The bud didn't do anything for the constant paranoia though. Opiates are not all fun and games. Just don't take them. That way if you ever get injured the 5mg percocet they give you will actually work for pain.

granted my addiction is definitely more mental then physical, im in the same boat as you with the tolerance issue. A 30 mg roxy would last me all night if not two days, nowadays i start off with an 80 mg dose if i have to eat it or a 40 mg dose if can snort it. And that's just to start, two thursdays ago i binged to around 300 mgs and spent the next few days hurting pretty bad.

If you can stop using, stop, when and if you do decide to come back to it it will be a lot better. Im currently on break for couple weeks to dry out a bit and hopefully drop the tolerance a small amount, OC is the devil and heaven at the same time.
