opiates... bah!

half of me says it is ok that i'm addicted, the other half says i'm going to get too addicted on day and not have enough money to pay for it, and yet ANOTHER half of me says that my back hurts so my (ab)use is perfectly legit. why, god, did you have to make them feel sooooo good and be so helpful but addictive and tolerance building at the same time? i guess for there to be good there has to be bad, but why? why does nature maintain balance? why not all good or all bad? why not just neutral always? just something to ponder...

i've thought about it, but it isn't even an opiate, is it?  just similar effects?  also, i've never been too fond of drinking teas... that's the only way i think i've heard of people taking it.  pills are just so much easier!  :smile:

Kratom can be put into gelcaps. Gind it up cap it and down they go.

Opiate use is a two edged sword. A cycle of Heaven and Hell, can't have one without the other. Better to have never tasted the sweet nectar at all, lest you not know what you are missing...

I guess that is the ultimate question. I chose to use drugs because I didn't want to miss the experience, even though I knew there would be lows that matched the highs. If I had never tried at all, would it have been better? Hard to say

Oh and no how matter how long ago, what situation it was in, when you first met opiates, you began your dance with the devil, which will always pull you to some degree...

yes i know, its hard to know if you experienced things better because you have taken narcotics or not.

im glad i did because ive experienced things mentally and physically that wouldnt have been possible if i hadnt.

but as they say, if you're going to use drugs, then use them and don't abuse them and there should be a healthy balance, speaking comparatively that is.

I always find the constipation that comes along with taking opiates to be natures way of warning me off. After a few days, want I really want is a good dump, not another hit (which, let's face it, isn't that great once the tolerance sets in). Sorry for the crudeness, but it had to be said.

Ha ha, cheers for that, but it's only a problem when I indulge in the opiates (which I haven't touched for a few years now). I thought it affected everyone like that, obviously not :smile:

Not sure how I'll I'll steer clear now I know there's a solution :wink:

If i dont have morphine at LEAST once a week i get very grumpy and feel shitty..yea i wish i would have never done it, but when i take my 120mg of c17h19no3h20 i feel GGGGGGGGGREEEEEEEEEAT!

I might be going on a long term opiate pain plan because I fucked my kneck up last week! Its not my kneck so much as it is the right side of my head and the left side of my rib cage; throbing 8 out of 10 pain for hours on end. And no, hydrocodone ain't helping one bit. When I go back in to my Nuerosurgeon next week Im going to see what I can do.

  Get off while ya still can, yeah opiates are blast, yeah they make you feel incredible.....but, if you let them control you, you'll go through hell, take it from someone who knows.  :shrug: :goodluck:
