chocolate chip cookies

2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp bakeing soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1tsp vanillia extract
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup of chopped nuts of your choice if you like nuts.

Mix, Then bake at 375* for 9-11 mins
Yeald 5 doz

and they were damn good. i'm sure yours are good too, the recipes are very similar. i used self rising flour though instead of flour and baking soda.

one tip here tho if you are going to make a huge amount of cookies in my case it was 300 cookies, you have to reduce the amount of butter in the recipe. It is weird but in some recipes when you multiply the recipe some ingredients have to change, in this case it was the butter.

I just don't agree that 5 dozen would come from that recipe, AND I like chocolate chip cookies!

i like to add a dollop of sour cream to my chocolate chip cookies... makes them really soft and fluffy :smile:
