    #6718436 -

Linda kay is my dad's wife, she is a good home cook with a ton of recipes, this one made it into my book & as well, i left this one in the garde mangr recipe book at a country club i worked at, these are the best monchies on earth, i ued to enjoy these when i was younger & not diebetic.

Butter..... 1/2 cup

gram cracker crumbs..... 1 & a half cup

sweetened condenced milk.... 14 oz.

semisweet chocolate chips.... 6 oz.

sweet shredded coconut........1 & a 1/3 cup

chopped nuts, ( of your choice )....1 cup

Pour melted butter into pan.
sprinkel gram cracker crumbs over melted butter in pan.
pour in the condenced milk now.
then top with the coconut & the chocolate chips.

Bake @ 350 for 25-30 mins.

Cool, chill & cut into bars, and above all.... Linda Kay says.. "Enjoy"!

They are excellent, I know them as "bake sale cookies".

yes the utmost of munchies, but i am so sick with diabeties that i will prolly never taste them again., well unless made with "splenda" & sugar free chocolate, but Linda has been sneeky about saying " go ahead, this holliday shit is all sugar free" and then later admits that various parts have sugar as i passout & then sends me home in a stooper because i snor when out cold from sugar, she is so unforgiving.

 Linda sounds cruel. I try to avoid sweets. I've never turned down bake sale cookies.

My mother makes magic bars. Probably one of my favorite things about X-mas time.

Ya know you are exactly correct, she is cruel as fuck, but 5 years back i had a car accident, wasn't my fault, and she kicked down a grand toward another car for me, i about fell over.
