Man I can't wait till I get my kratom growing! But it'll be quite awhile until I can use any of it, I'll be starting from seed.:grin:

Mr End,

Unfortunately, it's widely accepted that the potency of tom comes with age. The older the leaf, the stronger it will be.

I've grown from seed, it's not as hard as people say, I usually get a 25-50% germination rate. However, my biggest trees are 8 feet tall and six years old but they're not even as potent as the cheap, "premium commercial" grade that I buy from most vendors.

Growing anything is always fun, though. Best of luck to you, good sir.:D

ahhh that sucks Brewmaster
  I have some plants about 3 feet tall that have no humidity dome and leaves fall off every once in a while.  I have a little over an ounce from them so far and if its not active it's not worth my time growing.
  I live in NY and it's too cold here to grow them into trees outside 
    maybe I will toss them and make room for more active plants "indoor growroom" :crazy2:

They should be active, just not as potent as older trees.

If you're going to get rid of them anyhow by all means send me a pm and we'll work out a trade(if they might survive an oversea journey)

Then it shall be a LOOOONG time until I use any of it, lol. I love growing from seed though, being able to watch all of the growth from the time its just a wheeeeeee little lad:tongue2:.

I will try some sometime and see if I like it. I am not into opiates though. also these are too big to ship.

I just boiled/simmer'd 15 grams of the regular leaf in about 2 glasses of water. I did it for like 20-30 minutes. Then I Strain'd. It was bitter, but not so bad. Then I added lemonade mix and sugar...Easy to get down now!

IM still drinking it so ill have to post the effects later.

I felt like I did a half-assed tea..its late...but! im starting to feel amazing. The regular leaf is waaaaaay more economical than the more expensive shit. regular leaf is all im getting from now on, I just had to try both for myself.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!
