Favorite Childhood Horror Movies?

Here's what I spent my toddler days watching. :grin:  I'm excluding Freddy and Jason, as they should be a given for anyone who's seen a horror movie.  I was lucky to have responsible parents who explained horror movies to me.

I Remember seeing some movie I believe it was called "6-pack" and it was about a virus that eat off limbs and what not, and those limbs had a mind of their own. Thats all I can remember.

And for some weird reason "earnest scared stupid" scared the shit out of me as a child.

And the older Chucky is CREEPY!  I'm not too happy about the jovial tone they gave him in the newer movies.  Back then this movie cover, and the sequel scared the shit out of me.  Just seeing that video cover sends a flood of good memories about me and my dad in the video store picking out movies :smile:

Shroomie, I remember as a kid at blockbuster I'd always dare myself to look at the back of the box of the childs play movies...Ah! I'd freak myself out!

And what the fuck was the deal with Childs play being on the USA network everytime I was home alone or when my parents were in bed!?

There's NOTHING like flipping channels as a 7 year old from Rugrats to Chucky trying to kill Andy with a knife.

I stopped having nightmares of that fucker by 11 or 12.

Yeah they're cheesy now, but I dunno...that was my horror sweet tooth, if you will.  I loved it even though it scared the living SHIT out of me.

My mom used to torture me with it though :lol:.  In order to get me to do stuff like clean my room she'd be like, "I was cleaning your room today and I found a puppet in your room.  I killed it but it's in the top of your trashcan so watch out.  :lol:"

They must have had a ball with it.

i was only afraid of terminator, in T1, when he was all metal. Cuz i thought since he was a robot there was no way i could stop it.


although T2 is prob my favorite movie of all time.
