lysol substatute

I don't have any lysol around and don't really want to go to the store so would it be alright to wipe all my stuff down with rubbing alcohol to sterilize?

To wipe stuff down with that's not a problem, but you want to be able to spray the air with something to get as many airborne nasties as you can.

alcohol is good for syringes(the needles).. Lysol is good to use before you open your terranium...

What exactly are you trying to substitute/use it for???

I was gunna inoculate my myco bag in the stove and I just wondered if I could use it to wipe down the injection site and the needle

Yes... that will work.. If your not going to buy lysol, just make sure the area your doing it in is clean/Draft free... and cover the injection point ASAP...

I only use lysol in the air...rarely. It depends what i'm doing and how sterile I feel I have to be. My sterility concerns three different liquid: 10% bleach in a spray bottle (for cleaning table-tops etc.) rubbing alcohol (to rub down any tools i'll be using eg. syringe needles or shotglasses or print mediums) and finally lysol (used in the air).

alcohol should be ok. If you want to steralize a small work area to work in and don't want to spend the money on lysol then a solution of bleach and water in a spray bottle should be ok. Just don't use it on stuff bleach will damage.
