funky smelling perlite.

will perlite begin to smell funky after being wet and closed up? should you add bleach to perlite. or can you? something has got to be making it smell like that

Try mixing some H202 in it.. that may help..

dump the perlite, theres something probably growing in there. perlite is dirt cheap so its no biggie. when you moisten your perlite, use a 10:1 ratio of water and h2o2 (hydrogen peroxide). bleach is a little overboard.
