Opera or Shroomery?

It seems to me whenever I click on a thread I've read already, I have to hit "refresh" to see replies - they don't automatically show up even when the list of threads says there are responses.

Quirk of the web browser, or the site?

Try shift-refresh and see if that helps...

What version of Opera are you using? I'm assuming 9.something.... go to Preferences | Advanced and select 'History'. The 'Check documents' option should be set to 'Always'. If it isn't, the issue is with your browser. It's not really a 'problem' per se, you just have it set up wrong for the way you browse the web.

I had this problem--the solution is to turn all cache off:

Tools > Preferences > History

Memory cache
Disk cache
