I think the oxygen helps tell the mycelium to pin, so probably.

i thought you were suppossed to let them pin, then stick them back in the jar to grom invitro's faster...right or wrong????i dunno.......

thats a toss up.

I have had them in jars and in the fruiting chamber pin about the same time.

I'd say that giving them light was the key to pinning.
