Hello everyone. This is my second post. Between last year and this year, I've gone mushroom hunting alot. My father owns a farm of 235 acres here in Upstate NY, and I visit often. I never find any mushrooms similar to Psilocybes. I always get my hopes up, only to be disappointed. Does anyone know if any Psilocybes grow naturally/natively here in NY USA??
-------------------- Think for yourself. Question authority.
Psilocybe semilanceata has been reported from upper New York State and is also common in Nova Scotia and in New Foundland. So it is possible, but then again not every field willhave shrooms, and liberty caps are a fall mushroom which comes witht he fall rains until the freeze.
