CLONING

How does cloning work....what does the stems have that make them reproduce the same strain?
I tryed today to clone using and the mixture(puree stems) were sanitized in peroxide solution before placing them into a Honey/water mixture everything was carefully done so shouldnt be contams...will this work?

The mushrooms is all compacted mycelium. It is millions of individual hyphae. Cut some off from the inner cap-meets-stem portion and transfer to agar.

sure it will work - as long as it was sterile - water can hide contaminants though
