Should I water-spray this mycelium? (pic)

...or should I let it pin first? Does it harm the mycelium to be sprayed.
I sprayed it twice in three days. The first time, I followed Anno's instructions in deliberately spraying on the mycelium so that water prevents it to spread too fast on one side. Then I did it from a distance of ~30 cm (12in). Am I doing right?
How often (a day) do you spray the casing soil, if you do? Is it necessary to spray it at this stage (3rd day in terrarium) as it seems to be always moist and the humidity at 100%?
The strain is Maza on plain (with a handful of cow poo) rye.

Hmm... I don?t quite agree with this. The casing surface looks moist. What I?d do is to spray it when it doesn?t look moist anymore, means perhaps once a day, or less, depending on the humidity in your terrarium. But you can definitely spray the mycelium so it doesn?t spread too much over the casing surface.

Now, the fact is that the casing surface began to shrink a bit on the borders (right on the picture). Is that to be considered as a dried casing soil to be sprayed? By the way, the mycelium on the right part of the casing became flat whereas the other side (a day younger) is still very fluffy. Does that make a difference? Which part is the most adequate for pins, left or right, fluffy of flat? LilMerlin.
