remember Nights for sega saturn?
    #6737712 -

The sequel is coming out for the nintendo wii this Fall

http://wii.ign.com/articles/777/777545p1.html

the title enables gamers to control a jester named NiGHTS through Nightopia, "a rich and vibrant world where dreams come to life." Players will, of course, utilize the Wii remote for what SEGA calls a "heightened sense of gliding, spiraling and looping through seven mystical dream worlds." In addition to soaring through the stages, gamers will battle Nightmares from the the land of Nightmare.

oh man.

That brings back memories. Thank you for the head-up about this, it might just be enough (coupled with Sonic & Zelda) to make me buy a wii.

Sega is a failure these days. They failed with their consoles and their Sonic series progressively gets worse and worse. Check this out-

How does a company fuck up that badly? In short, don't get your hopes up.

Why you gotta come in here and hate on a videogame? :crankey:

Sega is still ok in my book. I lost most of my childhood to the Genesis, I can't help but respect them - even if they do have console-release butterfingers and are going slowly down the drain over the years. I'll always remember your golden age, Sega.

Video games are already overpriced. I don't want anyone spending 50 bucks for a piece of plastic that they won't enjoy. Just trying to educate the consumers.

SEGA has always had problems w/ their products. They have had a bad tendency to rush and release games before they were done. The old systems were also a bit behind on music.

But they still came out w/ good games, hopefully they will get their act together and show us that they can still make decent games from time to time, especially on one that is so anticipated.

I remember it all right...it was the game that mesmerized me after seeing it on a Blockbuster preview screen. I never ended up playing it or seeing it after that...

I've heard so much about this game but I've never played it, knowing it will come out on the Wii is cool because I've always wanted to see what all the hype is about. NiGHTS always seemed like a cool character to me too.
