I WENT TO A COUPLE OF NURSERIES THE OTHER DAY AND FOUND OUT THEY ONLY SOLD VERMICULITE IN 6 SQ. FOOT BLOCKS AND IT COST A SHIT LOAD OF MONEY. CAN I USE ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES VERM FOR SUBSTRATE AND STILL USE THE MMGG TEK OR THE PF TEK

Get the money. Buy the vermiculite.

The lights could probably drain out moisture. You keep the lights on constantly? 24/7? That can't be good.

Kmart has vermiculite and most hardware stores carry them. i got mine at a hardware store for 3.79 for a huge bag.
