Q about cuban cigars

i wasnt sure where to post this but, i was told that cuban cigars are wrapped with opium as the glue to keep it together is this true?

i doubt it.
someone else tried to tell me that all cuban cigars are laced with either coke or weed. i'm not buying that one, either.

haha i have a humidor next to me full of cohibas, straight from cuba. all tobacco no opiates or anything else. just tobacco :thumbup:

Haha no. Cigars are not held together by any sort of glue. What is people's obessision with Cuban cigars. I have heard all the rumors from they are laced with various drugs to they get you high. The reason people want Cuban cigars is because the soil in Cuba is perfect for growing tobacco leading to a great smoke.

I have had many a fine cigar and can tell you without hesitation that Cubans are not the best. I would take a Dominican cigar over that any day of the week. In my humble opinion, people want Cuban cigars because they can't have them. Unless you're traveling to a country that doesn't have an embargo against Cuba, you're never going to taste one unless you're connected.

Cuban cigars are hyped because they are rare in this country. They are rare because of the Cuba embargo, not because they're so good.

I just brought me back home 4 monte cristo cuban cigars. Smoked 3 already out of the five pack, picked em up in st. martin and brought them back home along with a carton of ciggs and a bottle of the best rum.

okay here is the deal of that, the cubans he had were endeed rapped with 4g's of opium to help keep it together it is from castros own collection
i was like no fucking way turned out he was telling the truth he showed me a pick tht had castro and him in there. my friend has connections with a few mofia's, me myself have connection directly with the italian mofia im their dawn. bwt i smoked one and got fucked up
