Try Workman at the SporeWorks. He carries some edible shrooms.

How about cloning some store bought mushrooms? The oysters practically grows themselves. I had some in the fridge that almost crawled out of the cardboard box i was keeping them in. Very aggressive growth, no contamination problems.

Some of the worlds best edible mushrooms are near impossible to cultivate. Choise shrooms such as mastutake and Chanterelles require root innoculation methods to say the least. Morels are also very difficult. Best bet is oysters or buttons. Button (Agaricus bisporus) spores and syringes can be found at: http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/Meadows/4448/spores.htm Good luck!

CaptainMaxMushroom, can I expect a decent strain if I just use a spore syringe? I thought the strains of these mushrooms were generally quite diverse and often not very productive. ShroomGod

I believe these to be a fairly good strain, the spores come from huge fruits and I had many of them. Contact me for further info.CaptainMaxMushroom@yahoo.com

Not very far from where i live they have some experimental farms with chantarelles. Small scale but impressing. I've read somewhere that they are the cutting edge at mychorizza species.
