not a pleasent sight to see in a forest

during some walks in my forest i found bottles of vodka. empty bottles. today i decided to clear out the forest so i took a wheelbarrow and endured shitty weather and shitty road conditions to bring these babies home:



i don't know about you but i just laughed when i saw this. these bottles were hidden in plain view near a forest path. notice how 90% of the bottles have their caps securely screwed on. as i picked them up and loaded them onto the cart i tried to imagine who would do such a thing - and why?

dozens of empty bottles hidden in a forest. not smashed or scattered. just loaded into small piles.

i wish i could wish the person who did this into a glass bottle and then throw him/her into the gulf current never to be seen again. i'm ot even angry - just puzzled.

thought i could post this and share the everyday madness people inflict on themselves by drinking this shit and then inflict onto the wilderness by leaving it there. it's just against my better judgement to leave junk into a forest.

no respect.

When I was a kid I used to make pyramids, dams and forts out of roadside junk.

It wouldn't be difficult to assume someone had done the same in this case.

In your estimation, how big of an area were the bottles spread over?

in a 50m radius. probably they drove a car there, took the bottles from the trunk and carelfully piled them there.

I've been with groups who have driven out to the middle of nowhere with a boombox just to have a good time.
