its not convincing people you know alot about mushrooms its conincing people your not breaking the law by entering there land willingly. I'm not sure even what the original question was but if someone gives you permission to hunt there land then the cops come, they cant do shit and if you let them, well thats your own fault.

Asking permission is perhaps the best thing you could ever do for anything, when i go fishing or metal detecting or looking for edibles i always ask permission.

This makes me cry. I could see this happening even if i was turning the camera on and telling them. Worse has happened before. Civil rights are nothing when youre being told by a man with a gun and a badge that youre a danger to others for having a hobby.

On the other hand, i just ask and have some fake mycology class papers and a camera and i look like a scientist. I sit there gabbing to people about mycelium as my two buddies in the background are combing the yards and taking pictures. 3 AM trespassing is not something i would do but others might find that rewarding...

if you show them the tape of the land owner giving you permission. Then i am almost positive that all that evidence would be stricken out. Law is good but sometimes it is bad. you just have to be smart about how you go about things

Still raining. The problem is with the temperature. The next couple of days will be around 60-69ish, with low in the 30-40ish!!

Sorry about being off topic but it doesn't look like it going to be the right condition for mushrooms...
