How high should I put the water level in the pressure cooker, I have a metal thing to put in the bottom of the pressure cooker to keep the jars off the bottom... but how high should the water level be?
I think thats about it... I hope it works this time.

Hrm... maby that could be a reason why my last jars did not make it.. because I didnt fill it up where it was touching the jars at all... just where it was right underneath the riser (about 1" of water)... doh!

Ok, here we got.. the pressure cooker is heating up.. and everything is getting ready to go. Here is what I am cooking up.
Soaked Overnight 1) 400ml birdseed (in Quart Jar) - Gypsum added. Water level below birdseed level. 1a) 400ml birdseed (in Quart Jar) - Gypsum added. Water level below birdseed level.
Did not soak overnight. 2) 400ml birdseed (in Quart Jar) - Gypsum added. Water level below birdseed level. 3) 400ml birdseed (in Quart Jar) - Gypsum added. Water level equal to birdseed level. 4) 400ml birdseed (in Quart Jar) - Gypsum added. Water level 1cm above birdseed 5) 400ml birdseed (in Quart Jar) - No Gypsum added. Water level 1cm above birdseed.
I have 3 different syringes I will try to innoculate from, just incase one syringe has high contams (hopefully they all do not, that would be my luck ). Wish me luck.

yes water half way up the jars in the pressure cooker, make sure foil is on TIGHT so no water splashes up in them
