Windows install question

I have an 80GB master drive on channel 1, and then a 250gb master on channel 2, with dvdrw as slave

250GB drive has 3 partitions, all fat32, with no special flags. never had windows installed, never booted from, etc.

when i go to install windows, it selects my 80gb drive as the first and primary disk...it gives my 3 partitions full of media the letters C D and E....and then installs windows on drive F. Why?

I am not really sure how to change it short of removing the other disk until after windows is installed.

anyone?

Why not make the 250 drive slave?
