Just install xp on it and fuck what Microsoft thinks about it. Greedy bastards have enough money already.

Who gives a fuck if it's "legal", the question is: Is it possible, and would it benefit you?

If the answers are both "yes" then go for it , fuck the law, have a nice day, and eat Snacky Smores. :laugh:

someone's signature says "If microsoft ever made a product that didn't suck, it would be a vacuum". That about sums it up.

I don't know if they can determine this or not. You should have posted this in science and technology where all the nerds are. Here in OTD it's just us weirdos and psycopaths. :grin:

well, i for one, do give a shit about legality. if i coded something and licensed it i'd be pissed about people ripping my shit. i hate M$ and am proactive by using non-M$ warez such as LINUX. to answer the question (as opposed to encouraging illegal activity) you ARE allowed to put the OS on as many machines as you like as long as only one machine is operating at a time. that is spelled out in their EULA.

to everyone else: WrongX2 =! Right

"i hate M$ and am proactive by using non-M$ warez such as LINUX"

WTF are you talking about warez? waht the fuck does warez have to do with linux????

====================

As for the original question. Your key will not be blacklisted or anything and yes you can install it on both. You should be able you activate the key on both computers. But I suggest you get the corporate edition of the Internet, no activation junk.
Go ahead, Never worry about the legalities of taking m$ software because bill gates is the anti-christ

But you should check out placing linux on that laptop, because tux is jesus.

warez is short for softwares. just because a buncha pirates use it to define illegal warez doesn't change that fact. same thing happened to the term "hacker".

You should be all right if you have a full license, and I'm guessing you do if you paid full price. I have an OEM version, which I paid about $80 for. It was cheaper, but I can only install it on one HD. If my HD goes tit up, I'm pretty much screwed. :frown:
