Why is the sober atitude gremilin thing under your name have a frown on its face?? Im trying to get sober myself (off alcohol/benzos/addiction) not psychedelics of course I will always be here for you guys... But thet thing is, is that what you wan't the image of the site to be even as insignificant as it may be why would someone have a frown on thier face if thier sober esp if thier not enjoying thier lives wasted alll the time.. This place isn't about getting fucked up its about getting enlightened. I am trying to stay sober at right now but I don't like wearing a frown on my face because of it.. Im not shure if anyone else here shares in my opinion or not but please change it to a happy face if its not too much trouble.. There are others out there struggling w/ addictions and do you think they want to have a frown on thier face if they are trying to make steps to better themselves... common It just makes it look like a junky site IMO.... Just my 2 cents.. thanks guys for any considerations you may or may not give regarding this matter.. Love you all god bless..

to respond to you both I don't think I addressed this at all ever so Im not beating a dead horse unless somone else already has posted about it.. And I would use the relaxed one but im not relaxed im trying to come off hard drugs and alc.. Is that really the image you guys want the shroomery having even as insignificant as it may be, that being sober is a bad thing? Thats not cool man I don't want to be part of that.... Im for psychedelics but imo their for introspection and exploration not getting Fucked up....

i definitely see what you mean, and mostly agree with you about the "sober" mood looking negative

maybe for you, that's what the mushroom experience is all about. but this place is about sharing knowledge about mycology, mushroom hunting, the experience, etc; which for some people is a religious exercise, and for others is just a way to make watching eraserhead even stranger. people derive their own meanings from the psychedelic experience, and i know there are a lot of people here and out in the real world that don't view the psychedelic experience as having anything to do with "enlightenment".

see how you found it upsetting that somebody's (negative) feelings about sobriety are forced upon the "look" of that mood, but then went on to attach your own meaning to the psychedelic experience? a bit ironic, no?

yes I agree Im not perfect im a hyporcrite like most people are.. but still man you at least agree.. Im not trying to tell you guys what the shroomery is about or what pyschedelic experiences mean to different people I just dont want to have frown man I wana be sober from hard drugs alc,etc but still love my psychedelics I take em for my reason others take them for theirs... I didn't wan't to cast a negative light on that I was just using it to reinforce me point... I like the first sentance in you post the best Brah things will be heady... honestly, i don't see what all the fuss is about. i tend to like weird, surrealistic cinema (things like brasil, city of lost children, pi, etc) but found eraserhead to be exerting all its energy at being strange, and getting little-to-nothing else across except the simply weird point :ohwell:

I agree.  I don't use the Sober mood because the face never represents how I feel when I am sober. 

The smiley in the Sober mood graphic is the :bored: icon.  Do most of you feel bored when you are sober?  If you do, get a life.

Yeah it should be a happy guy whistling or some shit. We might be all about mushrooms but you can't be tripping and stoned all the time. I just set mine to happy when I'm not stoned. :grin:
