New drivers

Obviously we were all a new driver at some point (unless you never acquired your license). We all have done some stupid things, some more so than others.

For example, I bottomed out my mom's Grand Am GT looking for potential paintball fields with a friend. As luck would have it there was a decent sized rock sticking out from the dip in the trail (not for cars... DUH!) that punctured the oil pan. Damage: $850, not covered by insurance, paid in full by my folks. They are very forgiving people.

So enough about my misadventures via automobile. I load peoples' cars all day at work and naturally we have cameras eyeing the entire process. We work in the warehouse mostly and security is right next to us so we get to see some hilarious shit quite frequently. Right before we closed tonight we loaded up a car and it was some young chick that just got her license with her family. We headed inside and about 30 seconds later security comes walking out saying "Do you drive a silver Honda?" :smirk:

You can usually tell when this is gonna happen. Fortunately for my entertainment it happens quite often. They showed us the recording and the chick backs up into the parked Honda, stops, hits it again, then parks it. Her dad and someone else gets out and checks the damage, the dad and his daughter switch seats, and he takes off.

Same thing happened about a month ago, but there were 2 of us standing there waving at the guy to stop. He didn't, we laughed and went inside, then he took off.

The funny thing is they just picked up merchandise we had been holding for them. We have their name, address, multiple phone numbers, and most of all the recording of them doing it! :lol:

I want all those kids Dead. I've had Cars hit in parking lots(and I have been getting bitched at for how far away I park for years). My friend recently had someone damn near take off his bumper,he just walked outside to see the rear of his car all fucked up.


I wouldn't care as much except it's always happened to me when I'm in a car that really really doesn't need to be touched by a belt buckle,much less hit but a fucking 16 year old with a permit in a Navigator.


Fuckers.

I'd have to echo your sentiments.
I live in Washington and we've got some of the worst drivers!
Not aggressive and dis-curteous. Just slow, akward and excruciatingly indecisive.
