Automobiles...
    #17218833 -

Just finished my 72 chevelle project today. Anyone else here into the muscle car scene?

That's a really sweet chevelle, I'm very much jelly!

This is the car I've been working on for a while now, 1989 Honda CRX.

I'm mostly broke as hell, and I got the car pretty fucked up, so most everything has gone into restoration and simple mods like Integra seat and instrument panel swap, upgrading the head unit and speakers, rear sway bar and disc brakes, etc. I did put in a DOHC ZC engine, nothing really special but its a little peppier than a stock Si and I still get 40mpg. Its my baby for now, I'm plan-rich but money-poor, lol.

:manofapproval:absolutely beautiful car, the guy that lives across the street from my parents has i believe a 68 chevelle ss, its black, sooo sexy. one of my friends tho has a 69 camaro ss that is that exact color scheme, white racing stripes with that metallic light blue, god damn i love that shit.

no muscle car for me just a 2001 ford ranger, but my first car was a 91 s10 that i completely rebuilt, like literally completely, took the engine/tranny out and rebuilt both, all new suspension, new bed, new paint, new interior, new speakers, new brakes, literally everything was redone, it was intense but i loved that car.

anyways props to you man, i hope someday to have a car that nice

Nice man thats top notch. Ive always wanted to restore an old muscle car like a 67-69 camaro but I need a better or job.

My daily driver is 97 Camaro Z28 30th anniversary (white w/ orange stripes). Its a cool car, it runs exceptionally well for its mileage. It got me from PA to UT and back just this summer on a roadtrip so Im happy with it.

I went through my Honda phase a long time ago. I had a 98 EK civic that I dropped a cheap turbo-kit into back in the day. I had a piston blow through my hood going about 110 on I95 @ 8 psi...ahh to be young, stupid, and ambitious..good times

I love Camaros, that's what I grew up with. The Z-28's take a lot of work to get them running right, but once you do, they are very fun cars to drive (as long as you don't mind electrical problems)

Cars nowadays have too many cpu's for me to comprehend. I say we go back to carburetors.

carburetors

I would say the majority of people who think they know how an engine works and uses carbs cannot tune them properly. Inturn they end up running lean or rich.

Then again, the majority of people who work on cars do not actually know the engineering behind what they are doing.

454 Crate Big Block from Chevy with modern fuel injection system.
TKO-600 Tranny, and 12-bolt 4.11 posi-trac.

I do however agree with that. I ponder how the shift will unfold when all cars are electric. There will still be people who tune and modify their cars but how will that happen?

In the US, eventually, we will have speed limits that are mandated through our vehicle's CPU

Oooo 454 what components inside if you do not mind the quick write up. I have a 440 stroked out to a 512 waiting to be installed in my little project called a 1952 Henry J

*edit, crate engine from chevy, nevermind.

Well, unfortunately carbs haven't been around in the US for a long time in production cars. I really enjoy tuning carbs till this day instead of plugging an OBCII scanner into a car an telling me what I should do, instead of what I want to do.

Thank you my friend. Those 90's S10's were great cars to work on at the time. Then 2000's came along and they ruined the S10.
