Is anyone else a HUGE Chevelle fan?

I can't think of another band (beyond Zeppelin, Floyd, etc) that's caught my attention so fiercely and made me such a huge fan.  Every album they make plays through like a work of art. 

Some of my faves:

I've only seen them twice, and I'm eagerly awaiting a Philly date on their new tour.  Chevelle fans, get the fuck in here.

Oh man... I love Chevelle.

But their live shit is another story. They play awesome, don't get me wrong. But they came out... Said... "Hey, we are Chevelle."

Played a bunch of songs, took a bow, and left. I was kind of dissapointed. :shrug:

But yeah man, Jars is my favorite song...

The show I saw, (with Bush and Filter) rocked.  They took audience suggestions, catered to the crowd, gave kinds words about our city, and played an awesome fucking set.  Most importantly, they sounded like their CD's.  They didn't deviate and they stayed true to their sound.  The lyrics were clean, the sound was perfect, and you felt like you were witnessing a piece of Chevelle history.

Well, I really don't want to do this but I must. I like the car better than the band. This one be my favorite. I like some of their songs, but not my choice right away.

They got their name from the car their father was into.  They used to be a family band made up of brothers but some disbanded and it's a different band now, but that car was symbol of their family ties.

Their song, "Clones" is actually about them being labeled a "tool clone".  It's funny you mention that.
