I've always wondered about going up to eat bread and drink the wine a bunch of times if they'll say anything. Just keep going up and pounding the wine.

As far as I see it, churches steal from millions of people every time a collection plate is passed around (unless the collection actually goes towards something good such as feeding or clothing the poor), so no. In most circumstances, I do not believe it is wrong to steal from a church.

No, people GIVE money to churches because they want the church to continue to exist and provide them with (argue this one all you want, how much they get back, I don't care, this is their reasoning) guidance.

That does not justify stealing at all.

The preist will probably be the one that saves you from getting lynched if you get living up to your words. I guess it's a good thing, free lesson in morality and religion.

From what I heard from a friend of mine, the Preacher or Preist says give 10% of what you have on you or dont give4 at all. Im completely serious and have heard this from many.

I have been to many churches where a very large sum of money was spent junk such as wide screen plasma TV's every 7 feet down the hallway walls and goo goo clusters and cd's to give to visitors as bribes to come back. At these same churches I have listened to the preacher preach MULTIPLE sermons about how people should give 10% of their income as a tithe, PLUS more as a "love offering". The preacher then went on to guarantee that God would return everything that they gave plus some if they followed these tithing rules.

You may not consider that stealing, but I do. I believe that is using religion to pull money out of people. People will do crazy things in the name of religion, and people that use this fact to their advantage sicken me.

Granted, not all churches are like this. There are very many churches that do very good things with the money they receive. But there are also very many that do not. I have never stolen from a church myself, but I would see no more shame in someone stealing from one of these types of churches than I would in someone stealing from a Walmart.
