Speaking of old drivers in Florida.Yesterday i was behind a old lady pulling out of the gas pump. Gas cap dangling off the big red SUV of course.She then cut someone off. Waved at them saying thank you. Then she put her left blinker on,Its a oneway street going right.I said no way she's gonna do this there's a big ONEWAY sigh right in front of her and it's only two lanes both of them with traffic.But of course she turns left and didn't realize what she was doing until a oncoming car was coming towards her.This was all withing the span of 1 minute.

Oh my god! I know it's so crazy!! Every day I live here, I seriously think I'm going to be killed!! :runaway: I've seriously stopped driving unless I have to. Most of them are so dangerous, and they ALWAYS wave 'thank you!' like that! I don't get it, are you thanking me for my organs in the future? They need their licences taken away!

And again everybody thanks so much for your input, I told my bf we were moving to Oregon, and he's really stoked - he said that if Paul Stamets lives there it must be good tripping ground too. :laugh: Now to just pick a town...

I used to live in Hood River Oregon but now now its 1300 miles away
For what you are looking for oregon washington and California sound like they would by right up your alley. The Columbia Gorge is the most beautiful place in the whole United States when it come to Landscape And as long as you don't move to far East of the mountains they usually keep alot of the costal air which means it is not as cold.

All I'm saying is there's these things called sweaters and jackets. You should try them sometime. Portland isn't that cold. If you wanna see cold, go to Chicago in the winter.

In SanFran I had a sweater, still froze my ass off... It was Mid-July for Christs sake!
And Ive heard stories of Chicago, I shall avoid Chicago for all eternity.

Ashland has 13 outdoor theaters and you can catch shakespear in the park any given day during the summer.
Bend is up in the mountains.
Eugene is a cool college town.
Newport is a cool beach town.
Corvalise is a college town.
Portland is well portland  awesome food cool city in the mountains.


Ashland is a pretty awesome little town like that.  It's not an understatement about free local Shakespeare performances...  and there are a lot of "dirty hippies" walking around, which is cool if you can put up with the yuppie crowd as well.  There are always little shops and boutiques and art galleries open through downtown, as well as Lithia Park, which is HUGE and free! 

Farther south, about 20miles north of the cali/or border is Klamath Falls.  If cold is a problem then don't move there, but it is the place to go if you want land/ build your own house. 

Corvallis is such a college town (OSU).  Summers are like Cali weather usually, winters get wet.  This winter it has only snowed twice, and neither time has the snow stuck around until lunch :wink:

Eugene is like Ashland, only the hippies are clean.  It is still a college town (UofO), but there are some pretty neat things to go see and do in the area.

I'm gonna say it like everyone else. The PNW is the shit. The Coastal Region is beauitful during the summer, and the eastern parts of the states are pretty nice in winter, it does snow and get icy every once in awhile, but never for long.

north shore lake tahoe is the spot, if your a chick you,ll be in heaven,it,s like 10 guys to 1 girl ratio, they need alot more females up there, everyone smokes weed there as well

Bay Area might be nice. SF is kind of cold during the summer but during the fall it actually gets pretty hot. Berkeley is another good option if you want fewer people. Santa Cruz is also amazing...there was a free pot giveaway at city hall but the feds came and busted the whole thing.

Bend, Oregon? My old batshit insane English teacher was from there. That bitch.
