Last night on the news.. They reported a cafe shop that opened up in downtown Montreal (were i live).... and they explained how the menu is Kratom and Salvia... And how the owner changed to selling 'legal highs' because his cafe wasn't making money... I was so angry when I saw it, and even angrier when I saw that other news stations in Montreal covered the new cafe and reported about it... I cant believe this guy!
People like him make ethnobotanicals scheduled substances.
He even did an interview...
Does this anger anyone else?

No, it really doesn't bother me. I think it's pretty cool.

'strongest hallucinogen known to man' -
at least its sort of safe place [as it seems]], looks pretty comfertable to kick it with friends and what not. although i myself prefer a natural serene environment.

By weight it is actually the second most potent hallucinogen and its intensity is only rivaled by DMT, DPT,5-meo-DMT etc

I'm pretty sure it is. I may be wrong. LSD is the most potent.

LSD is most potent, and I think salvia is second... LSD is active at 50 micrograms... salvinorin at 250...

As far as intensity per second salvia blows lsd out of the water. It's second only to DMT.

I'm actually popping this back into existence because two of the top 3 newspapers of Montreal published articles on this cafe , a couple of days ago. In one newspaper , it was slightly demonized , sometimes being described as ''potentially the worst five minutes of your life''
On the other newspaper , the female reporter went there with some friends and they smoked some. It also had some references to Castaneda and Huxley ( we have some decent newspapers )
They talked about the place a bit on TV. The general opinion seemed to say that , once there was some research done on the subject, they would probably ban it.
The nice thing about the place is that the owner only sells it to the people he deems mature , and he acts as a trip sitter. He also hired a "bouncer" to stop people who have a really bad trip to run into the streets and get hit.
